I was thrilled to find a personal trainer to take my requests for specific upcoming activities to heart. She specialized a workout plan to help me volunteer at a children’s home, saddle my horse, play with 9 grandchildren and prepared for an upcoming trip to Tokyo, Kyoto, Hiroshima, and Okinawa which I knew would require 10,000 -20,000 steps each day. With a chronic hip issue, I was hopeful that I could do it if we worked diligently. Now after 12 days of vacationing, I believe we were successful! I felt very confident traveling with our friends, one of which has been a jazzercize teacher for 16 years. We had a wonderful time and Morna is a huge reason why the trip of a lifetime was so fun.
Would I like to look like I did 10 years ago? Yes. But, I am more thrilled to be doing the things I love with friends and family. My 50s are great, it just takes some extra TLC from Morna!
